Dr. Marina Kurian is a surgeon in private practice in New York City, and she’s a clinical professor of surgery at NYU Langone Health and NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She has been practicing Minimally Invasive General, Foregut and Bariatric surgery for over 20 years. She continues to be involved with quality assessment and outcome measures in Bariatric surgery. She has written many articles and book chapters, as well as lectured nationally, and internationally. She is the past president of the New York State Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. She has been on and chaired several committees for both SAGES and ASMBS. She is currently the president-elect for the ASMBS.
