Management of GGO (Ground-Glass Opacity)

Dr. Nirmal Veeramachaneni is a Thoracic Surgeon and Professor of Surgery at St Louis University, St Louis Missouri USA.  He trained in surgery and thoracic surgery at Washington University in St Louis, and has previously held faculty positions at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill USA, and the University of Kansas in Kansas City, Missouri, USA.

Dr. Veeramachaneni serves as the director of lung cancer screening for SSM St Louis, and St. Louis University.  He was previously Vice Chair of the Operative Standards Committee for the American College of Surgeons Cancer Research Program.  He is a member of the AATS, and serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery.  His surgical practice focuses on thoracic oncology, and uniportal minimally invasive surgery.
