Dr. Alessandro Martinino is a first-generation medical graduate born and raised in Rome, Italy. He received his MD degree from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, in 2022. Currently, he is working as a Research Scholar in Transplant Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC).
His fields of interest are abdominal organ transplant and metabolic surgery, with a focus on minimally invasive and robotic approaches. He is a sports enthusiast.
