Dr. Angela Chaudhari is an Associate Professor and Vice Chair of Faculty Affairs in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. She serves as the Chief of Gynecology and Gynecologic Surgery and the System Director or the P2P Support Network at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She also serves on the Medical Executive Committee and is currently Secretary/Treasurer of the Medical Staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. 

She received her MD from Northeastern Ohio Universities in 2000 and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology training at Washington University in St Louis in 2004. She, then, completed a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Florida Hospital, Celebration in 2005. She joined the Northwestern University faculty in 2011 after serving as a Clinical Instructor at Drexel University in Philaelphia and Assistant Professor at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. She completed her Organizational Leadership and Coaching graduate certification at Northwestern University in 2021. 

Her research focuses are in: women's health, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, gender affirmation surgery, surgical education and physician and workforce well-being. Her clinical interests include: uterine fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis, complex laparoscopic gynecologic surgery and gender affirmation surgery for LGBQT populations.  

Her academic interests include: quality improvement in gynecology, surgical education, bioethics, surgical simulation and surgical coaching. 

She also has specific interests in the organizational drivers of healthcare workforce well-being and burnout, peer support and leadership coaching and development for physicians.
