Dr. Courtney Sommer graduated from University of North Carolina School of Medicine at Chapel Hill in 2006 before completing a residency in General Surgery at University of North Carolina Hospitals in 2013. She then completed a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care and Trauma at Harborview Medical Center-Universit in 2014.
