After graduating in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Santiago de Compostela (2001), Dr. Cristina Dopazo completed her residency in general surgery and digestive system at the Hospital de Vall d'Hebron, obtaining the title of Specialist in General Surgery and Digestive System (2007).
He has made several stays abroad. The first one was in the Department of Pediatric Surgery and Transplantation at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh (April - June 2017). Later, he worked in the Department of Liver Surgery and Transplantation at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham (July 2009 - July 2010). The last was in April 2017, in the Abdominal Transplant & HPB Surgical Oncology Department at Toronto General Hospital.
