Graduating with a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil, Ecuador in 1997, Dr. Villao swiftly established herself as a dedicated medical professional. Her commitment to excellence led to recognition by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1999.
With a thirst for knowledge and a dedication to her craft, Dr. Villao earned her specialization in General Surgery from the University of Chile in 2004. Moreover, she completed another Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at CEICIL, located at the Hospital del Salvador of the University of Chile, from December 2007 to November 2008.
Her dedication to continuous learning is also exemplified by her participation in the Postgraduate General Surgery program at the Universidad De Chile's Faculty of Medicine from 2000 to 2003, a program recognized by CONACEM in 2004.
