Dr. Elias Ortiz, MD, is a certified laparoscopic and robotic bariatric surgeon currently practicing in Tijuana, BC, Mexico. He exclusively operates at Elias Ortiz and Company, boasting 12 years of experience in the field of bariatric surgery.

Dr. Ortiz holds the position of Vice President at the CCBEMBC (College of Bariatric Surgeons and Metabolic Disease of Baja California, Mexico). He is also a founding member and former speaker at the CCBEMBC, as well as the current Treasurer of the CMCOEM (Mexican College of Surgery for Obesity and Metabolic Diseases).
