Chief of General and Bariatric Surgery Division at East Carolina University. 2013-2018 worked as a Bariatric Surgeon with Bon Secours In Virginia. Previously served as Director of 2 major University Weight Loss Surgery programs at Duke and at Virginia Commonwealth University. Pioneer in minimally invasive bariatric and general surgery procedures, international speaker, author of 139 original scientific articles / books / book chapters. Trained 30 laparoscopic and bariatric surgeons in Fellowship who now practice throughout the United States.
