Full Professor of Anesthesia and Intensive Care, Chair Director and Postgraduate School in ARTIeD at the Campus Bio Medico University, UOC Director of Anesthesia and Intensive Care at the Campus Bio Medico Polyclinic Foundation where he has worked since its inception in 1994; former Medical Director of the same Polyclinic from 2000 to 2009 where he held many other prestigious positions over the years; carries out research activities in the field of Anesthesia and Intensive Care with particular interests in: development of simulator dummies for doctors and nurses, direct and indirect laryngoscopy with rigid and flexible video laryngoscopes and fiberscopes, associated techniques for tracheal intubation, extraglottic devices and early oxygenation, mechanical ventilation in anesthesia and intensive care, fluid therapy: from physiology to clinic, loco-regional anesthesia techniques, health management.
