I have a degree in Medicine from the Central University of Venezuela (UCV). In 2020 I finished my residency in Thoracic Surgery after 5 years of training at the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital and since May 2020 I have been a specialist assistant doctor in the Thoracic Surgery and Lung Transplant Service.
During my training, I did training stays at Lenox Hill Hospital (Northwell Health) in New York doing specialized training in robotic surgery, particularly focused on lung cancer and tracheal surgery. I have participated in several national and international minimally invasive surgery courses to expand my knowledge on innovative techniques.
I am currently part of the robotic thoracic surgery team since its formation and actively participate in the establishment and development of the program. I actively participate in various lines of research at the Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology with studies on Lung Cancer.
