As a Consultant Upper GI/Bariatric Surgeon at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London, I have more than 14 years of experience in the field of clinical medicine and surgery. I have a DPhil from the University of Oxford and have completed fellowships in advanced laparoscopy and bariatric surgery at the Cleveland Clinic and Phoenix Health. I am also an Associate Director of the International Bariatric Club, where I direct the IBC Oxford University World Congress www.ibcclub.org. My core competencies include bariatric, foregut, biliary and emergency abdominal surgery, diagnostic and therapeutic Upper GI endoscopy, medical education, and research. I am passionate about advancing the knowledge and practice of bariatric surgery and improving the outcomes and quality of life of patients with obesity and metabolic disorders.
