Got his Bachelor degree in Medicine in 1995, Master degree in thoracic surgery in 1997 and PhD from China Medical University in 2003. In the period from 2006-2007, he received surgical trainings in some prestigious American hospitals, including Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, Mayo Clinic and California University Los-Angeles. He received BiMBA business courses of advanced hospital administration in National Development Institute of Peiking University from Oct. 2016 to June 2017. Won quite a few awards, including Developing Nation Travel Award in 10th WCLC in 2003, Vancouver, Canada. First Liaoning Famous Youth Doctor. Won several prizes for VATS performance, including the Championship in Video VATS competition of Chinese Clinical Oncology Conference in 2018, He conducted scientific research in Karolinska Institute, Sweden in 2000-2001. As a thoracic surgeon, he actively diagnoses and treats numerous patients with lung cancer, esophageal cancer, ediastinal tumors and chest wall deformities, completing 30-40 cases of surgeries per month, and about 400 cases per year. Special interests in difficult cases, severe adhesion, redo surgery, and neoadjuvant therapy. Known for sleeve resection, double-sleeve resection, extended resection, reconstruction of major vessels, reconstruction of chest wall, comprehensive and multimodality treatment. Also good at VATS, minimally invasive surgery, especially singeport lobectomy, segmentectomy, and even sleeve lobectomy, and modified Nuss procedure for pectus excavatum and pectus carinatum, transthoracic and subxiphoid procedure for pulmonary and mediastinal tumors. He performed a lot of first cases of operations in his hospital and in the area where he served. He has a total of 52 publications as first author or correspondent, half of them in English SCI journals, including in the journals of Cancer Research, Lung Cancer, et al. Took part in the translations of two books from English into Chinese and editing five textbooks in Chinese. Got a total of 13 financial support of national and provincial projects and grants. Held meetings of the First and Second Liaoning International Symposium on Lung Cancer. A number of live performance through web broadcast for single-port VATS and non-intubated general anesthesia.
