Jérémie LEFEVRE (MD, PhD) is professor of digestive surgery at Saint-Antoine Hospital in Paris (France) and specializes in colorectal surgery. He was nominated as Professor in 2015 at the age of 37 years old after a PhD on hereditary polyposis.
Prof Lefevre deals mainly with colorectal cancers, hereditary syndromes such as Lynch or polyposis and more complex affections such had anastomotic failure, recto-vaginal fistula, or IBD. He is the PI of several randomized trials for the GRECCAR group or the SAFE-3 trial an international (EU and USA) study with Patricia Sylla.
He has published more than 280 articles in peer-reviewed journals and has been invited to give more than 50 oral presentations at international meetings. He is a member of the GRECCAR board, general secretary of the French Society of Digestive Surgery, and has been nominated as a Young Leader of the French-American Foundation in 2017.
