Biography keyboard_arrow_down

I am a physician scientist working in the field of molecular pathology, tumor immunology, hereditary cancer, and cancer evolution. My research dedicated to the immune evolution of mismatch repair-deficient cancers has led to a first-in-human clinical trial examining the feasibility of cancer immune prevention in Lynch syndrome. My clinical expertise covers molecular tumor diagnostics with a particular emphasis on microsatellite instability and mismatch repair deficiency (MSI/MMRd). My current activities aim at the integration of artificial intelligence/machine learning, mathematical modelling, and immune biology for tailored cancer prevention, interception, and therapy,.
