Dr. Liang is a board certified general surgeon and an expert general surgeon. He teaches other general surgeons on how to improve the quality of their patient care, optimize their surgical technique, and integrate cutting edge innovation into their surgical practice. Not only is he the Program Director for the University of Houston/HCA Healthcare Kingwood surgery residency program where he teaches resident surgeons, he also teaches faculty surgeons his approaches at many national surgical conferences. Common procedures that Dr. Liang performs gallbladder surgery, intestinal (small intestine and colon) surgery, appendectomy, solid organ removal, and catheter/tube placements.
