I studied medicine at the Favaloro University in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I later completed my training in general surgery at the Hospital Regional de Alta Especialidad de la Península de Yucatán, where I had the opportunity to see very complex cases as it is a third level hospital. I trained as a coloproctologist at the General Hospital of Mexico Eduardo Liceaga, one of the best hospitals in the country. Finally, I specialized in pelvic floor and anorectal physiology at the General Hospital of Mexico Eduardo Liceaga.
