Dr. Panagiotis Kapsampelis is a Surgical Trainee and Education Fellow in Surgery at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. In his role as Education Fellow, he supports the training and wellbeing of surgical trainees at Kingston Hospital, representing junior surgical trainees within the Department of Surgery and Urology. He also coordinates surgical research and audits for the department.
Additionally, Dr. Kapsampelis serves as a Research and Content Advisor for General Surgery at MyOpNotes, a digital platform specializing in digital operation notes for surgeons. His contributions involve developing and enhancing digital operation note templates to ensure they are evidence-based, user-friendly, and compliant with national and international standards.
Dr. Kapsampelis holds a medical degree from the University of Patras and an MSc in Medical Research Methodology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His expertise spans medical and surgical education, research methodology, and general surgery.
