Dr. Chasserant practices exclusively in the public sector at the Albertville Moûtiers Hospital Center, without charging additional fees. He consults at both the Albertville and Moûtiers sites. Specializing in minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Chasserant conducts most procedures on an outpatient basis or during short hospital stays, ensuring a safe return home with the assistance of local nurses. His expertise encompasses various areas, including abdominal wall surgery (hernia and hernia repair), gallbladder removal (cholecystectomy), laparoscopic colorectal surgery (colon and rectal cancer, sigmoiditis, and inflammatory bowel disease), thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and proctology procedures (hemorrhoid treatment, anal fistula, and pilonidal cyst). Dr. Chasserant is an associate member of the National Academy of Surgery and regularly participates in and presents at national and international conferences on topics related to outpatient surgery and Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS).
