Dr. Arocha is a general surgery resident at the Hospital Dr. Domingo Luciani in Caracas, Venezuela. He studied medicine at the Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado in Barquisimeto, from where he graduated with honors in 2019, having additional studies in the fields of ultrasound and occupational medicine.
He is an active member of the Na'Waraos Foundation, a medical-social aid organization that has provided health to more than 35,000 people and performed more than 1,500 surgeries throughout its more than 10 expeditions around the country. He has published articles in national and international magazines. Currently, he is an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) provider accredited by the American Heart Association
His academic interests include minimally invasive digestive tract surgery and robotic surgery.
