Dr. Stavroula Papaeleftheriou is a third year surgical resident at the General Hospital of Athens “Evangelismos’’, Greece. She completed a two year residency program at the General Hospital of Lesbos “Vostanio” before moving to Athens. In 2018, she graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Gr. T. Popa” in Iasi, Romania.
As a medical student she actively participated in more than 10 medical students’ congresses and she was a significant part in Students’ Associations at her University.
As a resident she became part of the IASSS (International Association of Surgical Students’ Societies) and in 2022 she was selected as a delegate of the Future Surgeon Program and participated at the International Surgical Week in Vienna, Austria.
She is a student at the Master’s program “Global Health and Disaster Medicine” by National Kapodistrial University of Athens.
Her interests in General Surgery are Colorectal Surgery and Trauma Surgery and Intensive Care.
