Stephanie Bonne, MD, FACS, FCCM, FAMWA is a professor of surgery at Wake Forest University school of medicine and primarily practices at Advocate Christ medical center in Chicago. She has practiced trauma for 14 years, dedicated to improving the care of injured patients and bridging the gap between public health and injury care.

Dr. Bonne is an experienced trauma medical director, educator, and researcher in trauma and public health. Her academic interests are in injury and violence prevention, trauma quality and systems, and advocacy for injured patients. She serves as a vice chair for the American college of surgeons committee on trauma, the chair of the injury prevention committee for the American association for the surgery of trauma, and the secretary of the association of women surgeons.
