Dr. Violeta Moizé is Dietitian-Nutritionist (UB, 1993-1996), Bachelor in Food Science and Technology (AUB, 2005-2007) and Master in Food Design and Innovation (UB, 2008-2010). Associate Professor, Faculty of Medicine (UB, 2018). She started her PhD studies, in the Alimentació i Nutrició program (UB, 2012) and obtained her PhD degree in 2017.
She began her professional career at the Hospital Universitario San Joan de Reus (1998) developing tasks of clinical nutrition and research and collaborating in teaching, in the subject of Nutrition in the degree of Medicine at the University Rovira i Virgili. During his stay in Reus, she had the opportunity to participate as a teacher in several training courses for primary care professionals. Later, after a one-year research stay at the Obesity Research Center in NY, she joined the Endocrinology and Nutrition Service of the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona (2000). Since then, her healthcare activity has been focused on the treatment of obesity, diabetes and dyslipidemia.
