Dr. Volodymyr Lavrynets is a practicing surgeon of minimally invasive and  bariatric surgery at the "New Hospital" clinic in the city of Kostrzyn nad Odrą, Lubuskie Voivodeship. 

He is a member of the Polish Society of Bariatric Surgeons and the founder of  such a center in the Voivodeship. 

In 2014, he was the organizer of three international congresses, namely: - Surgical congress (Kyiv, Ukraine) 

- Herniological congress (Kyiv, Ukraine) 

- Urological congress (Kyiv, Ukraine) with the participation of German urologist Prof. Dr. Jens-Uwe Stolzenburg from Leipzig University. 

The same year, he was the participant in the first general surgery operation in  Ukraine using telemonitoring. 

He studied at IRCAD in Strasbourg and holds the diploma on the skills on  working on the Da Vinci apparatus. 

Russia's military aggression against Ukraine caused the doctor to move early 2015 from Ukraine to the Republic of Poland. 

After the nostrification of his Ukrainian diploma, he founded the Polkraine  company to carry out educational activities and is its CEO. This company was  accredited by the Academic Council of the University and carried out international  activities on the methodological base of the Warsaw Medical University. 

During the Carpathian Surgical Forum, he performed a general surgery operation  via telemonitoring between Warsaw, Poland and Yaremche, Ukraine. 

In 2019, he was a consultant for the organization of the Skull base surgery congress and the inter-academic PROM program at the University of Warsaw. 

In 2022 he organized a master class on bariatric surgery with the participation of  the chief voivodeship consultant under the patronage of the local government. 

He is the author of 12 scientific articles and owner of 2 patents, PhD candidate and  scientific consultant of the Department of General and Minimally Invasive Surgery  of the National University of Health Care named after P.L. Shupyk 

Currently, he is the proactive leader of volunteer activities related to the supply of  medical equipment to Ukraine. 

His impressive background, knowledge of languages, proactiveness and extensive  communications network will contribute to the expansion of modern trends  promoted by the team of peace ambassadors.
