Revisional bariatric surgery to solve issues arising from the past: The laparoscopic gastric band was a commonly performed restrictive bariatric procedure. Analysis of medium and long-term results revealed a high rate of failure that required revisional bariatric procedures. Bariatric surgeons have currently abandoned this procedure. Guy-Bernard Cadière broadcast from Saint-Pierre University Hospital (Belgium) all the essentials of this situation by performing revisional bariatric surgery for a failure after a gastric band.
