Technique Description:
- 1) Incisions
- 2) Bulbar urethra dissections and full control of the posterior part
- 3) Preparation of the prosthesis, bubble removal
- 4) Implantation, control of tubes and balloon filling, closure and deactivation
Case Record:
Both patients: AUS implantation with perineal incision, inguinal incision and full preparation of the prosthesis
Clinical History:
- Patient #1:
- 65 y. old, post radical prostatectomy SUI; adjuvant radiotherapy, PSA is normal, Severe incontinence (condom catheter), urethra is normal
- Patient #2:
- 78 y. old, radical prostatectomy 2009 and early adjuvant radiotherapy, male sling 2015: severe incontinence, pre-op check-up is normal (UDS, cystoscopy, voiding diary, urinalysis)
