Single Anastomosis DuodenoIleal bypass with Sleeve (SADIS procedure)
Clinical History:
53 years old woman Morbid Obese patient (BMI=55) with the following comorbidities:
- Hypertension with two medications
- Dyslipidemia treated with Statins Sleep Apnea Obstructive Syndrome (SAOS)
- Insulin Resistance
Preoperative work-up:
- Endoscopy
- Barium Swallow
- Abdominal Ultrasonography: normal
Blood preoperative tests:
- Glucose: 106
- HbA1C: 5.9%
- Insulin: 36. H Pylori: -
Technique description:
We will perform a Single Duodeno-Ileal Anastomosis with Sleeve Gastrectomy at 250 cm from the Ileo-cecal valve.
Procedure Steps:
- 1. Dissection greater curvature and Duodenum
- 2. Sleeve Gastrectomy under a 54 French (18 mm) Bougie
- 3. Duodenum section
- 4. Bowel measurement at 150 cm form the ileo-cecal valve
- 5. 2 layers Duodeno-Ileal Anastomosis
- 6. Liver Biopsie
