Clinical History

  • 77 years old, female.
  • 3 cm left kidney pyelic stone.

Technique description

  • Patient in Valdivia supine position, transpapillary kidney puncture under Endovision with 0-90 degrees technique, dilatation and Holmium laser lithotripsy.

Procedure steps

  1. Endovision puncture with LithoVue.
  2. Dilatation with two guidewires up to 18Fr percutaneous access sheath.
  3. Lithotripsy with high-power Holmium laser and MOSES technology.

Training Objectives

  • To learn the correct kidney puncture in a supine position.
  • To learn how to do dilatation in Mini-PCNL.
  • To learn how to use high-power Holmium laser during surgery.
