TEST MoLEP vs HoLEP - We demonstrate, you decide!

Clinical History:

• 77 year old

• Indication: worsening LUTS while on medication

• IPSS 19; Ql 6

• AUS prostate volume 81 cc

• ASA score 3

• On micropirin - not stopped 

Other History:

• IHD

• HTN

Technique description:

• En-bloc HoLEP with early release of external sphincter and mucosal dorsal flap preservation comparing MoLEP with MOSES 2.0 to HoLEP

Procedure steps:

1. Presentation of 120w Lumenis holmium laser machine with MOSES 2.0

2. Presentation of instruments

3. Cystoscopic assessment and anatomical landmarks

4. Apical early release and en-bloc enucleation using at the beginning MOLEP on the LEFT side and HOLEP on the  right side

5. Morcellation
