The 4K visualization system is designed to provide four times the resolution of Full HD. Combined with a wider color range, it enables easier identification of differences between tissues.
Another important feature is magnified visualization. The Visera 4K UHD has a 55” 4K UHD monitor that provides surgical team with panoramic visualization of the surgical field and the option of using a 2.0x zoom with HD quality that potentially allows the scope to be away from the working field, avoiding the collapse between instruments and decreasing the camera spotting rate.
This innovative visualization system has been used by the Gastrointestinal Surgery Department at the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona. Antonio M. de Lacy and his team already performed a Cecil approach to rectal cancer and a laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy using the Visera 4K UHD.
We are very enthusiastic about this innovation and its potential benefits in modern surgical procedures.
