Colorectal Cancer (CRC) represents 10% of all cancer diagnoses and cancer-related deaths worldwide. It is the 2nd most common cancer in women and the 3rd most common in men. Geographically, its incidence is higher in developed countries, but the tendency is toward stabilization/decrease of incidence in those countries and toward increase in developing ones. In today’s SOC, Dr. Hongwei Yao will be explaining the facts about Colorectal Cancer in China as part of our new Colorectal Cancer Around the World series.
