The Hospital Clínic in Barcelona is one of the most experienced centers in this approach, and regularly provides courses that focus on comprehensive proctoring of this New Approach to Rectal Diseases.
Last week, colorectal surgeons from Canada, Australia, the USA and Singapore were at the Hospital to take part in this teaching experience. In this special event, they had the opportunity to practise the transanal pursestring in specially designed pelvitrainers.
The Hospital experts worked with them to proctor, provide tips and tricks, advise on technical challenges, and answer their questions.
