The Venezuelan Society of Surgery was founded on October 20, in 1944.


The SVC mission:

Its mission is to boost surgical education in the scientific, ethical and humanistic fields, with the purpose of developing surgeons who can successfully solve problems arising in the professional and social fields.

The SVC vision:

The vision of SVC is to promote surgical and technological advances that will result in optimal levels of safety and first-rate surgical attention.
