There is a scarcity of surgeons providing facial gender affirmation surgery for transgender patients.  This conference is aimed at cosmetic surgeons, plastics surgeons, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, otolaryngologists, dermatologists and other facial specialists interested an introduction to the surgical techniques in facial gender affirmation surgeon.  The conference will provide historical perspectives, current practice patterns and future areas for growth of the field.  Specific surgical procedures focusing on the forehead, nose and mandible will be presented through the various talks.  The main objective of the program is to provide a strong background in facial gender affirmation surgery to cosmetic surgeons across the world to increase access to care to the transgender community.
