In this event, world leaders will discuss how to optimise patient outcomes after robotic prostate cancer surgery, focusing on urinary continence and erectile function recovery. We will hear about how patients should be counselled to balance oncologic and functional results, as well as discuss surgical tips and tricks including Retzius sparing, hood preservation, graded nerve sparing, and more. At the end of this session, participants will appreciate the basic techniques of robotic prostatectomy, and how best to optimise functional outcomes without compromising oncologic results.
