The popularity of SADI and especially OAGB is increasing as both primary and revision surgeries for morbidly obese patients.
Post-op patient care after these surgeries is in many ways similar to that for any other procedure, with the exception of dealing with the malabsorption that can occur.
The topic of this presentation is the psychological changes and difficulties that many of our patients face as they lose weight.
I also discuss dealing with the physiologic changes that lead to real difficulty for some patients, especially related to malabsorption.
