Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy has become increasingly popular as a primary bariatric procedure and, according to recent data, is the most common bariatric surgery worldwide.

However, this primary surgery may fail, either due to poor weight loss results or due to specific complications of the procedure.

In this conference we will briefly review revision surgery for sleeve gastrectomy and answer 3 questions:

Why is this surgery performed? (Revision indications)

What surgery is performed? (Surgical alternatives)

How is surgery performed? (Surgical approach)
